How Will You Improve In All Areas?

4 January 2010

I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful New Years Eve and a Happy New Year. It’s been awhile since I’ve written a blog post, and now I’m back to hopefully bring the best content you can find nowhere else. With it being the New Year, many people have resolutions of what they plan to do different or improve on. Ask yourself this question, “What can I do to improve?”

The reason you should ask yourself this, is because you need to start finding out ways to improve what you’ve been doing before to boost your business. What marketing methods have you been using all year long? Which ones were more effective? Which ones haven’t given you any results? Have you incorporated attraction marketing into your business? If you’ve been tracking your results, you’ll have a much easier time trying to strengthen your marketing attack.

If you haven’t been using marketing for at least 6 months, then I suggest you keep using the same methods. The reason being is because marketing takes time, and I mean a lot of time. It may take months before people even know about you, so stick with what you’re doing. However, what I also challenge you to do, so find ways to improve your business beyond means of marketing.

Everything starts with you. You are your best asset when it comes to your business. In order for your business to grow, you must grow first. Someone with a good attitude, a good spirit, willingness to help others, and great ambition will be able to build their business a lot better than someone who has doubt, a bad attitude, is selfish, and lets personal problems distract them from their work. There is definitely a lot happening in everyone’s lives beyond just business, but what separates the ones who succeed from the ones who fail is someone with focus, ambition, a good attitude, faith, willingness to take action, and wants to help others.

Having focus is one of the main things you should have, cause when you’re very focused, nothing can stop you. People or situations can’t stop you. They can hinder you, but they can’t stop you from reaching your goals. Distractions are all around us. In order for avoid the possibilities of distractions hindering us, you must have focus, and you must get rid of the distractions.

How do you get rid of distractions? If you watch a lot of TV, turn it off and don’t watch it until you’re done working. Do you have a lot of friends that text you and call you wanting to spend time with you? Start setting up a time at night to meet them after your work is done. Are you always wandering through the Internet when you should be building relationships on Facebook? Close those other websites down and don’t visit them until later tonight?

Your time is limited. If your business isn’t growing, you need to first start with yourself. Get rid of old habits that hinder you from working. In fact, write down the things that are distracting you and stopping you from reaching your full potential. It can be family and friends, fear, procrastination, movies, video games, gossip, news, etc. Then what you should do is write down at least one way you can rid of each of those distractions. Then you should write down at least five ways you can improve yourself and your business. If you’re finding some areas are as strong, like the way you communicate to others when you’re networking, then find out how you can improve those areas.

I challenge everyone that’s reading this post to find ways to improve yourself in order to improve your business. And I encourage you all to stay consistent. The reason I say that is some people say they’ll do it, and they may do it for a while, then they stop. You can’t build a business that way. Millionaires aren’t made overnight. Take action, stay consistent, and most importantly, stay focused.

To Make $10,000 Monthly in MLM, Productivity is Key

25 November 2009

What you’re about to read is very crucial for you to know if you are looking to achieve success in the network marketing industry. If you’re new to network marketing, and the people that brought you in are talking to you about how much in residual income, bonuses, and commissions you can make, you have to read this. Knowing this will have you prepared for what’s to come in your network marketing journey.

In order for you to achieve success in network marketing, you need to be productive; point back. Being productive means continuously sponsoring new distributors and continuously selling the company’s products or services. You can get sales from the people under you that purchase the product or service automatically through an autoship, or by selling products to prospects that want the product but don’t want anything to do with your primary opportunity.  Though you may believe you can make a lot of money quickly, think again.

In order to make money, like $10,000 monthly, you need about, on average, 2,850 people actively buying your products and services. Also, you need the people you sponsor producing as well. So even if you’re working extremely hard yourself, and you’re racking in sales, don’t be surprised if your paycheck stays the same, or drops. Though you need to make sure you’re making money for the network marketing company, you got to make sure your people under you are doing the same.

You’re told that you get a residual income that will last a lifetime. Unfortunately, it’s not really a residual income. It’s just an incentive you receive for producing. For at any time, if you’re not producing for the network marketing company you’re a part of, they can take that money away from you.

Let me give you a real life example. A person my mom and me hired as a sales rep for our hair care company Heavenly Essence, Inc. was a Executive Director for a network marketing company that sells cosmetics. Before she got a chance to start selling our products, she got very sick and couldn’t work for three to four weeks. At that time she didn’t produce anything. So what that network marketing company did was demote her to just a regular distributor, took the car from her that she earned from the company, and she lost most of her income in the process.  What took her three years to earn was lost, and she’ll have to produce again in order to get everything back.

Keep everything I explain in this article in mind, for it’ll prepare you for what’s ahead. There’s potential for anyone who has the right mindset and ambition to become a millionaire in this industry. However, it’ll take a whole lot of hard work to get there, and most important, consistency.
