<p>What you&#8217;re about to read is very crucial for you to know if you are looking to achieve success in the network marketing industry. If you&#8217;re new to network marketing, and the people that brought you in are talking to you about how much in residual income, bonuses, and commissions you can make, you have to read this. Knowing this will have you prepared for what&#8217;s to come in your network marketing journey.</p>
<p>In order for you to achieve success in network marketing, you need to be productive; point back. Being productive means continuously sponsoring new distributors and continuously selling the company&#8217;s products or services. You can get sales from the people under you that purchase the product or service automatically through an autoship, or by selling products to prospects that want the product but don’t want anything to do with your primary opportunity.  Though you may believe you can make a lot of money quickly, think again.</p>
<p>In order to make money, like $10,000 monthly, you need about, on average, 2,850 people actively buying your products and services. Also, you need the people you sponsor producing as well. So even if you’re working extremely hard yourself, and you’re racking in sales, don’t be surprised if your paycheck stays the same, or drops. Though you need to make sure you’re making money for the network marketing company, you got to make sure your people under you are doing the same.</p>
<p>You’re told that you get a residual income that will last a lifetime. Unfortunately, it’s not really a residual income. It’s just an incentive you receive for producing. For at any time, if you’re not producing for the network marketing company you’re a part of, they can take that money away from you.</p>
<p>Let me give you a real life example. A person my mom and me hired as a sales rep for our hair care company Heavenly Essence, Inc. was a Executive Director for a network marketing company that sells cosmetics. Before she got a chance to start selling our products, she got very sick and couldn’t work for three to four weeks. At that time she didn’t produce anything. So what that network marketing company did was demote her to just a regular distributor, took the car from her that she earned from the company, and she lost most of her income in the process.  What took her three years to earn was lost, and she’ll have to produce again in order to get everything back.</p>
<p>Keep everything I explain in this article in mind, for it’ll prepare you for what’s ahead. There’s potential for anyone who has the right mindset and ambition to become a millionaire in this industry. However, it’ll take a whole lot of hard work to get there, and most important, consistency.</p>

<p>Having a hard time getting people to buy your product? You&#8217;ve chased several prospects down and have tried to pushed the sell on them, only to leave them defensive and running for cover.</p>
<p>One big fact is that people buy what they want, not what they need. Even if they need a product that will suit their needs, that&#8217;s not enough for them to buy the product. If the benefits of a product are great for them and fits their lifestyle, and the value of the product outweighs price, then they&#8217;ll buy.</p>
<p>An example of hard selling is when you receive an objection from the prospect like, &#8220;The price is too high,&#8221; and you as the sales person get on the defensive and tell them every reason they should buy right now. An example phrase would be, &#8220;Yeah the price may seem high, but like I told you earlier if you bought this right now, you would be saving $50,000 a year, which outweighs the $25,000 you would be paying for this equipment. Who would not want to take advantage of that? If I were you I would do so. You&#8217;re wasting your money by not buying this.&#8221;</p>
<p>Take a look at that phrase and see what&#8217;s wrong with it. First you&#8217;re giving the prospect too much information that they may not digest. Second you sound desperate to get them to buy. And third, you&#8217;re making them look stupid, which people will really resent against. That&#8217;s a sure fire way to ruin your chances of not only a sale, but of a loyal customer.</p>
<p>So never sound desperate, never throw too much information to the prospect, and never ever make the prospect look dumb. Tell them what they want to hear, and how the product you&#8217;re selling best fits their lifestyle or their needs. Ask a lot of open ended questions to get them to talk, and find the hidden objections so that you can eliminate them to make the prospect feel more comfortable to buy.</p>
